Hmm What Next?

So I hit a snag, my and my brother raced the other day he has a modded 200 Blaster, Im proud to say my lightly modded 250 Trailblazer kept up with it on the straight, but i got a job a few months back and if i want i can easily get more hours and such. My thing is though I really am not sure if i want to rip apart the motor and buy parts to make the thing faster or rip apart every piece and put money into painting the frame and new plastic and new exhaust and such..
What do you think?
Also question what makes the sound change on a quad? the silencer? or the exhaust pipe?
I recently bought a MT QUIET silencer, but kept my older hpd exhaust, but im starting to get bored of the same sound, i was looking for a high pitched sound but not too loud but i just shelled out 150$ for that silencer thats the problem..

You8 really need to port the cylinder and go with a pwk35 carb now.</end quote></div>
Thats what i was thinking of doing but i still like riding in the winter and snow so I don't want to have an all summer/spring bike.
I was thinking of just having Rick bore out my carb since no one does it locally..

You can run the FMF Turbine Core silencer on your HPD pipe and quieten it down good and makes it sound great. We had that on our HPD Trailblazer.Stay away from the FMF pipe though.

I dont have a recording of it but I can tell you it sounds better than any silencer on the market. As quiet as stock but about 1/3 of the weight.
