need help with 330 magnum
#1
My boy has the 330 magnum a 2004. The other day he was going through some water and accidently cut off the gas, in doing so the motor died on him sucking in some water. after i pulled him home, we drained the oil and replaced it, and the water where the belts are was drained. the motor will start right away, but will just idle, as we attempt to give gas it dies. What should we do, or what can we do?

I would change all the fluids and filters. Check the carb, and anywhere gas is. Also while your at it change the air filter. When you change the oil you'll know if there is water in there so that will solve that part. Might as well check under the hood (remove box in front) and check "computer" for water or wetness...

How deep was the water? Is it possible that the air filter is soaked & the air box is holding water? If the air filter is soaked, it could be allowing enough air through to idle but sucking water off the filter when the air flow is increased.
Just throwing things out there.

take the carb off and clean the jets.Sounds like you got water in the main jet.But clean both to be on the safe side
