which air filter is the best one to get for my '03 sportsman 700? can't decide between one of the foam ones or a k&n. I currently have a stock paper filter with one of those socks on it. is any rejetting required for just a filter change? only other thing I may do to it is maybe a slip on muffler.

 

anyone have any suggestions?

 

if you oil the k&n w/ the outside filter on it you shouldnt need to rejet. some like them on the uni filters.

 

I have a uni on a 330 trailboss, and a K&N on a 250 trailblazer, I think the K&N is better, at least it looks easier to clean, havn't had to clean them yet, but looks easier.
