mud in rad
#11
Hey, I like that portable bilge pump idea. Lot's of time we are out bogging and someone's bike goes down miles from home and we have to nurse her back. We ride in some of the deepest thickest mud you can imagine. I have a couple of boats and have a couple of spare bilge pumps. I will have to check on the output. The wiring should be simple enough and hose is cheap. Ya never know where you might come across a brilliant idea. Thanks, guys.

Most pumps I've seen are a little bigger than your fist. Pump, wire, and hose should fit in a grocery sack with room to spare. I read about this on another forum, the guy there kept his under his seat.
Make sure you get a fused ciggy plug, and I'd go to Lowes or Home Depot for the hose and some type of nozzle. Check the plumbing section. When you reduce the size of the stream, you increase the output pressure of the stream, just like when you stick your thumb over the garden hose at home.
