i blew mine again due to a leak last night on my 99 sporty 500. i can't afford to pay $20 a pop for these bulbs from the dealer. what is everyone else doing as far as aftermarket bulbs. please help guys. it is a 27 watt/12 volt. thanks- PB500

 

Take the bulb out and take it to an auto parts store and match it up.

 

they don't match up to any auto bulbs.....been there done that

Hate to tell you but I have gotten all my bulbs except the dash bulbs at Walmart or AutoZone

 

maybe your years but
i went to autozone and nothing came close

I replaced my 05 500 HO headlight bulb from Advance Auto. Match the same number as on the bulb. $7.99.

 

If someone has matched up bulbs for the new style bikes, please let me know what the part number is. NOT the Polaris number, I'm looking for the aftermarket number ie. 9007 etc. Thanks guys

 

I hope everyone can post the bulb they bought at autozone or walmart, meaning the year/model and bulb location and the bulb number they bought at walmart or autozone.

 

ok, i don't want to sound like an old grump or anything but come on guys/gals. please do NOT post that you got something, whether a headlight bulb or whatever, for your quad at walmart or autozone without giving some specifics...please!! there are alot of us on here that don't want to spend $20 a piece on a bulb, so if you got it for half that price somewhere, tell us where and the part number so we can get it as well. if you just want to brag that you got it and not share the info, don't bother posting on here. sorry to be rude but i have seen this too many times on here. we need to all help each other save time and money, that is why the forum is here. thanks- PB500
