yep, just had it happen a couple of weeks ago. got the new part and put it on. the best way to do it is to take the front plastic off, the fuel tank out, and then you can have access to your throttle body. you might as well clean that while you are at it, and make sure you clean the sealing point on the jug. i also cleaned my air cleaner box, and air tube from air box to the throttle body but take off the sensor (t-bap). it pretty easy that way. take it a part from airbox to the jug to make life easy. yeah, this was/is a common problem because they upgraded the part and made an better one. not worth a recall item but worth an upgrade.
