Default how to measure wheel bolt pattern

i want to buy wheelspacers, but i dont know what my bolt pattern is

I measured from the centre of one bolt to the centre of the bolt across from it (like east to west, not east to north/south) and it measures 110mm, is that my bolt pattern then? 4x110?

4 bolt: Diameter of the bolthole (A) + distance between the inside of two of the boltholes (B). A+B= boltpattern. Polaris = 4 X 156 mm

You can also go to the ITP website and I think they have the bolt pattern listed by bike. www.itptires.com. You need to go to the tech info section and look up wheels.

thats a strange way of measuring it but it makes sense and comes to the exact same number (i think....) Does "B" stand for the distance between opposite bolts? (E-W, N-S)

confusing part for some people: if you divide the diameter in half, you and add the halves to each side, then you get the distance from the centre of East to the centre of West: which for me is 110mm (or is measurement "B" the distance between North and East?)
