Default Chain seems loose

I just replaced the sprocket and chain on my 01 Scrambler 400 2x4 and there seems to be alot of slop in the chain. The teeth on the old sprocket were very worn and the chain was also sloppy, therefore the need to replace them. But now the chain still seems very sloppy. The tension on the 01 Trailblazer does not have nearly the play as the Scrambler.

The only changes I have made were to the suspension. I tightened up the rear shock because there seemed to be way to much travel.

I have came to the following conclusions. I either need to replace the rear shock so it can drop back down and put the correct tension on the chain or are there ways to tighten the chain?

Thanks,

Forrest

Default Chain seems loose

loosen the bolts in the back that hold your bearing carrier and you rear caliper mount bolts and rotate the carrier to tighten chain
