My friend wants to trade his '95 Scrambler 400 4X4 for my '99 TB. His Scr has a pipe and reeds and stuff. Is it worth it?

 

Personally I would want to know why. The Scram is a faster and overall more versatile machine but you need to consider the age and condition older vs not quite as capable but new. Prices for each used are probably similar. HTH

I'd see if you could trade for like a week or so, just so you'd have plenty of time to ride it and see if anythings wrong. Seems to me anyone in their right mind wouldn't want to trade a faster, more powerfull 4X for a slower 2X. But if it seems to be in good shape, go for it. If not, I'll trade my 00 TBlazer for it if you don't wanna. But check it out real good first, hell, take it to the local dealership and have them check over the scrambler.
