Default Treating bushings & CV joints

Do you folks feel it is safe or nessecary to treat bushings and cv with silicone spray or orther treatment

Safe? Sure, but I doubt that it's needed. I don't do it on my trucks and they seem to last pretty long.

It's been my experience that rubber needs to be heated up from use to remain pliable and not dry rot prematurely. If you don't ride your quad a lot, I believe dousing the CV boots and rubber bushings with silicone spray extends their life.

Might be a "placebo" but I believe in it and it sure doesn't hurt. :-)
