I went to my Polaris dealer and I saw a yellow Polaris Scrambler 500 4x4. The tag said that it was a special edition. I would like some more information on this scrambler. Can any one help me?

I've heard some people already have them. I switched the seat and nosepiece on my Sport, it's all yellow now, I'm really pleased with it.

Check it out.

I bought one just three weeks ago $5,800 out the door. (I love it) It looks good and since it is a special edition (only 200 were made) it may hold it's value better plus everyone will be asking about it.

Well 3tv that deos not mean that every dealer has them. I called all dealers in the southeast U.S. and there were only four total including mine. Most dealers did not know about them! Go look at any 2001 polaris books or even go to thier website. They do not mention it anywhere I've been researching for long time now. Sure you can by kits but it just ain't the same as off the showroom floor.

maybe the dealers are installing the new yellow body kits and saying they are special additions. This would cost the dealer less than $300 to do and would increase sales and probably price!

I don't think the yellow is special edition, the catalog was printed before the color came out and the didn't have time to update it. The people on the web site just need to tighten up and post it.
