just bought strong made stick stoppers for my Sp 400. When mounting, I noticed quite a bit of leeway in mounting location (how far up or down the a arms) Does anyone have advice? It seems mounting them too far from the wheel hub reduces outer cv protection, but could cause interference in other moving parts.

Well the plastic ones on my 2006 Sp 450 are lower on the a-arm protection is on the lower cv axle and rubber boot.............Do you have the factory ones on there now?,.....There are many pics of members photo pages here that may show them after-market ones they installed,....Just start looking at some photo's here on the Polaris forum, until someone up-dates you.........Caper.......
I myself would protect the lower rubber boot and cv drive axle......
