Try it and see what happens. Usually the factory runs a pretty fat jet in them. Put it on, then do a high rpm run and then check your plug. A light tan is good. White is too lean, and black is too rich

unless you run an after market exhaust(free flowing) i dont beleave you would need to rejet as it only lets it breath a little more, but not like if it had better exhaust. like scram. said try it.

I would think you would be safe on a 600 as well. Just keep an eye on your plug for a little while and make sure it's not too lean. Anytime I've ever been too lean or rich you'll notice a drivabilty issue first, like a hard start or a midrange bog or something. It's not too often it's really far out and still running perfectly.
