Sportsman 500 EFI or 500 Carburetor?
#11
Florencedunes, we have both a 2005 HO carb. and a 2006 HO EFI. The EFI is much easier to start in cold weather. I can start and take off without a problem. My ATP with the carb takes a bit to warm up. Couple minutes or so. The EFI is definetly smoother. It launches a little faster and gets about 2 mpg more than the carb. I can't answer the high altitude question. Hope this helps.
