I don't know why I'm puttin this part in, but today I hooked up the hot water hose to get rid of all the snow and ice packed in and around my quad, and I rinced the fenders all off. I was watching, and as the hot(not hot hot, just hot) water hit the fenders, the ends curled down about an inch(and no, I wasn't drunk....if I was I'd still be out there watching). I thought that was pretty wierd. Musta been stiff from the cold. Anywho, I'm about to put on a clamp-on K&N w/o airbox and an HPD pipe. Can anyone tell me what to look for on the plug to verify the correct jetting? Should it be a specific color? Oh, and what should I expect outa this combo, anything THAT amazing? I still haven't decided on which springs for the clutch, and I'm kinda thinkin' the orange one from HPD. I have a 00 TBlazer, and thanks for any help......

Plug should be brown, not white nor black. Ride up a small grade for 20sec or so(half throtttle) and kill the power and stop. Pull plug and check color(as above). Pipe will add 6 or so hp. This was a big deal on my Scrambler 400 2x4.

forgot on thing, stock jet in my scram was a 220 main. After K&N, Pipe and Vforce Delta upgrade, it went up to a 270. Start off rich on your main and work your way down. Better rich than lean. Good luck.

if you are gonna spend the 200.00 and some odd dolars on the pipe you might as well buy the clutch kit. Your pipe will be a waste of money until you do.

Thanks,NEWDSLOVER for the help. I got the pipe for X-mas, had the filter, and can't decide which springs and wieghts, because I plan on going down 2 teeth on the rear sprocket. Oh, and I meant a pink primary, not orange..
