POLARIS OVER HEATING ?

POLARIS OVER HEATING ?
2 friends of mine have 04 500 sportsman HO, the display is flashing "HOT" "HOT" "HOT. I have cleaned the radiator to a shine, changed the fluid and the fan works. What can it be?

POLARIS OVER HEATING ?
There was a ECM recall for the 04.5's. Call your dealer with the vin numbers or PM it to me and have them checked to see if they have had the ECM test done already. If they haven't, you should be able to get the machines fixed for free. If they have been checked and passed, you will probably just have to order 2 ECM's and replace them.

Can you see light through the rad???.........Is the back side CLEAN(fan side)??................
They may look very clean from the front ....But it's the back that plugs up!!.......Caper...........

where is this ecm located and how much do they cost? the paper work says that its out of warranty.

i can see light through every inch of it. i literally took the rad. out of the quad to clean it.
