i have a 2002 polaris sportsman 4x4. lately when i started riding it, it makes a popping sound in the back. it does this in reverse also. i dont know if it is comming from the rear end or the axels. i've never had it happen to me before. it does have a indpendent rear suspension. can someone help me out to find out what is popping. thank you

like they said, check all the cv boots for rips or a missing clamp as well which would mean it got water/dirt in there and is ruining the cv it self. sometimes if its ripped you can see grease all over the place as it gets throw out when riding it.
