first thing to do is clean the wheeler so you can look at it and do you have any pressure on the hand brake when you squeeze it or does it go right to the handle bar. check to make sure you have brake fluid in the resoire.

if its full of fluid then maybe the master cylinder on the handle bar needs a rebuild w/ seals and what not because it wont hold or create any pressure. you said the foot pedal doesnt work either? does this have any pressure at all as their totally independant of each other.

I would say a bad master for sure, but try to bleed it and see if theres any pressure. No pressure means a bad master. My buddys 07 had a master go this summer, thankfull it has park or he woulda went down a set of falls

Ok...it was brake pads. They were BAD! There was a ton of dirt/mud up inside the caliber. I cleaned it out, put the pads on and finally got some pressure on the brakes.....but then....it started getting air again and fluid poured out....I think I might have dammaged the rubber boot thing inside the caliber....is that fixable or do I need a whole new caliber? Could it just be sitting wrong inside the caliber....?
