i bought a cycle country plow for my sportsman 800, i really dont like it, if you pull the plow up to high it bends the bottom metal plate by the screens. on the glacier II plow, does the mount get in the way and does it take away any ground clearance in the front.

 

On the G2 plow you lose about 1/4" of ground clearance and you can lift the plow as high as the racks. I'm realy impressed with mine.

 

I've got a SP 500 with the G II. The mount is very small and doesn't get in the way. There is only about 1/4" of ground clearance lost with the plow full up. The only limit going up is when the winch rope is all the way in.
