well there's beer and deep water involved it runs fine untill it reach's temp then a nice tapping checked it out with a stethoscope and found the noise was coming from the bottom end or so i think until i tear it down slowly I.E. first the head then so on. when i hit the i did not hit fast but when the water reached the rack's i turned it off the next day i drianed everything and started it and heard the noise after 6 to 7 min of runing it .

been there,done that!! ended up in a 12ft deep pond with my sporty floating up-side down hydro locked!! after draining aout 10 gallons of water out of every orfice and changeing all the fluids and the oil and filter about 8 times still runs great,,guess i got luckey..did i happen to mention i live in michigan and i found the only pond in febuary that WAS NOT FROZE.. i learned a lesson,let the jack a$$ that came up with the idea GO FIRST!!!

I would drain all the fluids and try again> Takes a while to get all the water out> 2-3 times at least!!!! we always use diesel fuel and oil run a bit and drain.... we some times just use diesel fuel till motor get warm and drain. Takes a while to get the water/moisture out.....
