Do y'all know if the plastic is interchangable on 400's to 500's? Also, was there ever a year change on the scrambler plastics?

I would think there was never a year change and that it all is interchange-able, but I thought I should double check with you guys. Does anyone know?

FTWFLH,
Can you put 400 hood on a 500 plastic to make it work?
Also, can you explain what GENIII is?

The hoods will fit. Some people use the 400 hood with an oil tank converted to a reserve gas tank.
The GEN thing is 1986-88 are GENI.
GENII is 1989 -up chain drives like the TRailboss and early Sportsmans and Magnums
GENIII is Scramblers and later Trailblazers
GENIV are like the Xpress and Expororer and 500 Sportsman

Sounds good enough for what I need it for. Either give me a call whenever or send me your number.

I prefer decals on it, so that's good.
