My polaris died like it was getting to much fuel, then it sorta locked up but when i turned the engine backwards it would turn forwards for a little then lock up. I think it has to do with my new exhaust. Is the cranshaft bearing bad or the piston cracked?

No it wont work without some major modding. You can rebuild the topend for less than $200 as long as you didnt get parts in the lower end.If you have to split the cases be sure to use new crank seals.
I have a 93 250 Trailboss too that is a decent little machine. But it is staying stock
