I am getting plates for the two ATV's I own. I was wondering if anyone can snap some pictures of how they put the license plates on.

I had to drill two small holes on the plastic door on the back and mount it. Site is not allowing me to upload pics.

 

I was thinking of the white tie wraps around the back door.

 

Hey BP, when I had plates for riding in Vermont, I drilled two holes at the top of the tailgate between the left edge of the tailgate and the latch handle. I used short pan head screws and they held fine. Not sure on the Outlaw 90. I used to do zip ties around the rear grab handle on the Kawasaki Lakota and the Xplorer.

 

I used black Zip Ties and mounted it on the frame on my 07 700 sportsman. It's out of the way, no drilling holes and it is still visable.

Thanks, great pics...I am going to use plastic tie wraps. I am in no rush to get my plates right now. I will some more taxes (7%) on the ATV's when once I plate them.

 

I see your from Ottawa,............... GST is now 5%.....Not 7%....Did you know!!
The dealer usually does all the paper work and plates here in Ontario!!!!
Why not yours?............Taxes paid at time of sale???.................Caper..................

 

I bought the ATV's in the States so now I owe PST when I get the plates. I guess you can say it saved me $7,000.00 to do the paper work myself.....

 

How much did it cost to get through duty??.......
If you don't mind me asking.............Or tell me the proceedure one would need to go through anyway!!
