Default brush guard

I told myself that i wouldnt need a brush guard, so i diddnt get one... after all, when would i ever NEED one of those anyway.....

today i did... i was driving through the woods making a trail and i drove over a few trees about 1/2" diameter and knocked them over with the front of the quad, and that went well... but i got into a really tight spot and the quad slid and the front left headlight (goes out from headlight) went right into a 1' tree... the quad stopped really quick.... i backed up and got around it, the quad has not even a scratch.... but i figure i don't want to chance it again... the quad doesnt even have 11 hours on it yet...

where is the best place to buy a guard that covers the headlight and radiator, and still allows a winch to be used...

polaris dealer quoted me about 150+ which i think seems high...

wheres the deals at?

thanks, erick

P.S. this quad does something every time i take it out that i tell my self i could never do... it has amazing handling, power, torque, and power.... i love it

ebay is not showing me any deals on the whole brush guard, not after shipping... i'd rather spend 5.00 more and buy locally... but the "bumper" intrigues me... would that be enough, i do allot of trail, or not so much a trail, but making one (on my property) i go through allot of "prickers" and run over very small tree's... I don't want the ride handling to change drastically with all that weight in the front...

what's your opinions?

i have the brush guard on mine and it protects the headlights better and my wife had the reg. tube bumper but to me doesnt really do that much but grant it would stop you from pushing against the plastic.

as long as the brush guard doesn't effect the handling, i'll probably save for one of them...

I just don't like the look of the tube bumpers...

never thought of ebay, thanks

ATV Guru front bumper
I have the front bumper posted by Hobbles and the bars over the headlights will easly bend.
I would have gone with the Guru bumper had I done my homework.
