Default 2007 X2 500 Moose Plow install

I picked up the moose plow and all the other stuff...Now my first question is, does the Floor boards have to come off and if so how and is it easy. This is probably the first question of many to follow..lol...Its like an old BBQ and all the damn nuts and bolts...

We put a plow on our 97 500 Sportsman and the floor bouards never had to come off. The skid plates may have to though ,unless the holes are predrilled. On ours it was just a bunch of U bolts that fasten to the frame for the plow mount.

A few pictures of the mounting bracket. Not sure if its right. I will find out. I thought I would install everything that could be done without going to the garage.

Now the push tubes. I reversed the U-bolt its now on the other side and the handle is the other way. Instructions show handle and U bolt n different sides? Not sure if this is correct and I am not sure if this is what the winch hook clips on.

Do not follow these as examples. I am new to this and maybe someone can pick up on something I did wrong...

I finished up the main bracket install (didn't remove the floor boards) and I will check it in daylight to see if it looks ok. I was going to say morning, but it is morning. Hope the rest of the install is faster....

Is the blade adjustmrent lever suppose to go towards the front like in the picture or turned around and pointed towards the ATV? It came pre-assembled this way but the instructions show it reveresed and the U bolt I moved to theother sidd. I belevie that the winch hooks into this?

It think the square plate replaces your center skid plate of the ATV and does not mount below it.

I managed to get the plate on over the skid plate. I think the bottom mount is ok, I will check on it tonight. Its the push tube that has conflicting instructions and pictures. I sent an email off to Moose to get clarifications. I reversed the handle, but I think it will cause issues if the U bolt beside it is where the winch hook goes. Still trying to confirm where the winch goes....
