Default extra air!!!

for all you people that can do a little welding out there listen up. I half way finished with mine. on my 02 sportsman 700, on the back bumper between the two bumper pipes i welded a 4" pipe to both pipes and the same width of the bumper. i seal welded both ends of the 4" pipe, put a small guage in the middle of the pipe on the top part of it. then put a valve beside the guage, and a nipple beside it with just enough hose to reach the front tires. now you got spare air while on the trails or in the woods. the pipe will hold 110lbs of air. i store the hose in the tool box underneith the seat. thanks for reading......shea.............

not yet. i really haven't figured out how to get pics on my profile yet. cant wait though couse i got lots of pics i'd like to put on. i will as soon as i get around to it and figure it out. all i got left to do on my air tank is gring the welds smooth and paint it including the bumper. it will hold enough air to fill up one rear tire and one front tire. it may ba a life saver to me or someone else that may be in distress out on the trails.........shea............

Yoy could probably find a small electric compressor and have it keep the tank filled. With that much pressure on reserve you could reseat beads no problem. It would deffinatly beat ratchet straping the tire and hand pumping.

I had something similar on mine. I strapped an old co2 tank my buddy had that they wouldn't fill anymore to the rear bumper. I take my compressor and turn it up to 150#s and it works great. It will pop tires right back on the bead. It will refill 4-6 flat tires if they are on the bead depending on how much pressure you run in them.
