can i buy new springs like dual rates to put on my front and rear shocks? will this help much? i jump about 5 feet in the air and hit some whoop like bumps. i also ride trails occasionally. would the investment in the springs be worth it? any input is greatly appreciated.

Hot Seat sell them and they should help how much is what I`m also trying to figure out. Just springs or struts and springs that is the question?

Check out some of the posts from the past couple of days. There has been a lot of discussion on Scrambler suspension upgrades which should apply to Sports as well. HTH
