Help choosing pipe for Scrambler 400
#1
Ok so I have a Scrambler 400 4x4. It has a high compression piston and bouysen reeds. I want to put a pipe on it and plan on putting a cluth kit on it at the same time. I'm also planning on increaseing the tire size 1". I mostly 98% of the time ride trails through timber which are mostly twisty trails with some jumps and mud holes. I was thinkging about going with HPD's trail pipe and clutch kit, but would like your thoughts on what would be the best set up.
Thanks

Rick sells HPD too.But for the riding you discribed I would look into Dynoport. It will get you close to 8hp and not raise the rpm range where you can keep low engagement for the tight trails.I would rethink the bigger tires though. You will loose some handling and have to play with the clutching to get it to work right.

What's a high compression piston? Did you change the pin height?
