Kawasaki was laying low for a long while but there back. They even managed to keep the MSRP the same as the SP500,Rubicon and even lower than the Traxter.

i was surprised that it only had 42hp. the HO has 38hp. im sure that the kawie650 has more torque though. i wonder what the range will be with a 650 engine and only a 4.8 gallon gas tank. i know people that have HO's that are complaining about the range, so i think the 650 would be worse.
im still waiting for the sp700 to come out for real competition.

Hey Guys~
I would just like to point out one issue where the magazine article is completely wrong. They have seemed to forget about the scrambler 4X4...mine weighs in at 490 lbs according to the sales brochure...and with about 38 hp, that give me a power to weight ratio of 12.89! Uh oh, somebody still has a better power to weight ratio!!hehe I'm not doubting this machine is fast, I just would still prefer my scrambler. In my opinion, scramblers still are the ultimate trail machine!! Oh well, in the end, competion benefits us all. I too am looking forward to a new Polaris machine. Whether it is a sportsman or a scrambler, either will have tough competion waiting for them!
