Default Maxxis Bighorns on the SP 800

I got my 26x9x12 and 26x12x12 Bighorns on and the fronts DID rub on the tie rods so I tried the "flipping" the tie rod mod and when I turned the wheels, the tie rod ends were pinching and binding too much so I just went and bought some HD wheel spacers made for a ranger.

yea thats the problem w/ 9" tires up front for sure. some hit and some dont. looks like those would be a good all around tire. lugs dont look much deeper then the stock tires.

The lugs are slightly deeper than stock lugs. They last good though. My buddy has them on a Rhino and they have 1500 miles on them and they are hardly showing any wear at all. The front are wearing some due to lots of blacktop riding and the tires pushing in the turns at low speeds. They do great for an all around tire. You'll be happy with them except for maybe in really sloppy mud.

I am surprised the 26" tire would rub with aluminum wheels. I was debating on oing with the 26" for my stock steel rims. Has anybody tried these with stock steel wheels?

It depends on the offset of the rim, guys with the different style of Polaris aluminum rim did not rub, but I think the spacers will give it a wider, safer stance.

Do you mean the rim width? If so I will have to look.
