I'M LOOKING AT A 2007 PREDATOR 90 FOR MY SON. I READ THAT THE 06 MODELS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE STATOR. ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE 07??

 

We have an '06 Predator and haven't had any problems yet. The '07 was redesigned with a 4 stroke engine and is called an Outlaw. Do you know which one that you are looking at? An '06 Predator 2 stroke or an '07 Outlaw with a 4 stroke.

 

Greg, thanks for replying. I'm new to this sight so if this is the second time I've replied sorry. I called the dealer and it's the Outlaw 2007. 2100.00 plus tax out the door. Would you recommend the oulaw??

I bought the '06 because I wanted the 2 stroke "tried and true" , been around for a long time. The '07 is a longer machine and the 4 stroke is supposed to be good but I don't know. There have been several posts here and on the youth ATV forum about the '07. Try and do a search and see what you come up with. I'm sure it is as good a machine as the '06, several people have said that the '06 has better power than the '07. I know the one we have will move along pretty good!
