Default 2002 700 question

New owner of a 2002 700 Sportsman. Engines runs great and runs great in low and reverse, but I can't get the shifter to go to High. Any trick I don't know? Can anybody point in the right direction as far as what might be wrong.

stendori - how is the 08 400 working for ya. does it have pretty good power? how does it handle? you got a good looking quad, I'm almost bout to take myself into upgrading to a new polaris but cant really make myself do it just yet. my 02 has been a hoss and never really had too many problems with it, i'll problely just wait till this one takes a dump on me. my 02 700 has 3700hrs on it and it still runs almost like it did the day i got it. thanks..............shea....................

i dont blame ya there. wife only put like 6 miles on it before we put it up for winter. put mongrol is having real good luck w/ his 400 he says. compared to the 300 the wife tried in the power area theres a night and day differnce between the 3 and 400.

This is what I have to do with my 03 SP700. It's a safety thing with the foot brake. If you are still having problems, check the spring on the foot brake. Sometimes it get worn. Take a look & you will see what I am talking about. Hope this helps
