Default Fusible Link Blown - Maybe !

I thought the Polaris' had circuit breakers instead of fuses. Mine have both.

a fusible line is installed on the battery voltace circuit that supplies power to the main 15a fuse... the like is located at the starter motor solenoid + post... the link pn is 2202607...
there is also a fuse splice saver that houses the 15a main fuse and the 15a accessory fuse along with a spare... this is located under the front right fender on the frame rail near the bottom of the front storage compartment..
hope this helps...

Thanks Gunnsmoke, that will help. I can only find the red cable and black cable going to the starter, nothing else, but maybe from what you;ve given me I'll give it another try.

I keep looking for the car type starter where the solenoid is attached and has main power and two smaller wires going to it. Maybe I'm dating myself, but thanks again.

looks like the starter is below the carb some where and most of the time the solnoide is by the battery.

Its hard to imagine how electrically ignorant I am. I could be hit by lightning and I'd wonder what that spark was.

Finally found the problem. Just a blown main & accessory 15 amp. I had checked what I thought was the main fuse but I have since found out that it was the "splice" on the front right frame upright and I hadn't been checking the fuses.

They should write a book "Wiring for Dummies" and I'd be on the cover.

Should have listened to Caper & Duffus.

Thanks to everybody for thier input.
