What happened with all the repairs on the X2?

I just called a locksmith $30.00 way cheaper

Remove switch and drop it off at a "key smith" and they will make a key,at least thats what they did for my motorcycle.

 

I found it funny a few years back that polaris only has so many different key combinations so somewhere out there someone elses key will start your machine and vise versa. My scrambler was a 2002 my friend bought an 2004 his key worked on my quand and mine on his. Just the luck of the draw.

 

i lost my key is it possible to get a key cut using the ser.#. i have a 2006 polaris quad.

 

trailbound has the answer here, look on page 5 of your manual and the dealer should have written the key number there...

 

Indslpwr04, when I was a kid back in the 60's, I discovered that the key to my 1949 Harley Davidson 125cc Hummer worked in my grandmother's 1963 Chevrolet!

 

larr50 and all here on this post , remove the key switch and take it to a Certified Licensed Lock Smith they will cut you two keys in my area it cost me $25.00 ; they will ask for your phone number and or photo ID for their record's !......

I would go thet rout even if I had the key code,somehow I doubt the dealer can fix you up under $25 or faster,even with there key code.
