a friend of mine just bought a new HO and this thing rocks.i like it a whole lot better than my 99 sp 500.it has excellent brakes and rides second to none.it has slightly more power than mine also.i ran it till the speedo needle hit the digital readout on topspeed and it still had more!!i would trade mine to one in a heartbeat but this talk of a 700 sp .so i will wait a few months to find out.it will flat eat a rubicon in a dragrace easy.ive out run the new rubicon on sp and the ho will smoke mine!not to ruffle any feathers out there just my honest opinion.

my opinion on atvs are .they are all junk!its all in how you ride and service one to how it lasts.i ride very hard and in a lot of mud.my first atv was a honda 300 4+4 and it was pure junk.the rear end went out 2 times and the front went out once.good motor though.i ride the polaris sp 500 the same way and it has 5000 miles on it now and the only trouble ive had out of it was rear wheel bearings one time/one front hub seal/ and upgraded to the new tierod ends.5000 miles and two hundred dollars for parts isnt that bad for the ride and power of a polaris.i would rather ride one that i was happy with and buy a few parts ever now and again than suffer with a honda again.no flames intended.i have also out run 2 different rubicons on my polaris with no problem.maybe those dont run as good as tex mudders.i have supertrapp exhaust and a clutchkit/with carb kit.is my only mods.

Bill,
Now that my H.O. has 1,000 miles on it it has losened up a little. With the cold weather jetting I was able to hit 61.5 mph on the GPS last weekend while racing some snowmobiles on a logging road. The out side temperature was 10 degrees. I am sure the snow on the road slowed me down a little.
Bring on the 650 kawasaki.
