Hi All,

I've got a '01 polaris magnum 325. I need to hook up a 12V accessory, is there an easy way to get this without splicing the existing wires?

You can be sure to get 12 volts by running a hot/ground wire directly from the battery terminals.

Don't forget an inline fuse (properly sized) if you go directly to the battery.

Why not use the accessory jack on the left side (looking from the back) right above the rear wheel?

I went to Walmart and picked-up a 12-volt cigarette lighter type adapter with a spring-loaded cover door and pigtails, mounted right above the tail light and used the crimp-on in-line connectors to power it. All said, about $9 and 10 minutes.
