Has anyone replaced the camshaft in a sportsman twin? If so, did it make much of an improvement?

I upgraded to a hot cam when I had my 700 engine and it was a real good improvement in power.

That's good to hear. I have a Hot cam coming for mine this week, hope to see a good boost in power. I see you have a turbo listed in your goodies list. How does that work? i would imagine there was a few mods you had to make to accomodate that baby!!

I love the turbo. So far its working great and yeah I had to mod a few things to get it to work.

Added the hot cam along with a Dyno jet kit and a heel clicker clutch kit....WOW! After doing the work and breaking the machine in my older brother wanted to compare against his 700 Kitty cat fuelie-I pulled him by a bike length and then some!!! Highly recommend!!!
