Stendori, the 26" Swamplites probably won't fit, I ordered the 25" and the 25x10s stand 26" tall in the rear and are pretty close to rubing the back of the foot well, any bigger and it would be a problem on my Hawkeye. Mongrol has confirmed that the tire location is the same between the 300 and 400 so you would probably run into the same situation...The 25x8s up front have plenty of room. This is measured aired up with 5# air on the stock rims.</end quote></div>

well i beleave i just proved your statement true when i tried to put the 26" on. so 25" is going to have to do i guess.

Hey Stendori, Just typed in on google-swampwitch atv tires- ebay has sets with good pics 25, 26 and 27's
My boss has 25's on his 2003 AC400. the tread looks to be 1 1/4". Take a look at them and let me know what you think. Mike

I have 10's on the front and 12's wide on back. all 4 of my rims are the same,
7in wide and 12 tall. What is the deal with 11in?

yea still cant seem to find the size tire i want (25"x11"x12") as alot of brands either have 10 or 12". carlise makes some 11" wide but pretty much like our pxt's(makes them for polaris anyways). the search contiunes for a good tire.

welcome to the forum. getting differnt tires on sportmans arent a big deal as far anything going wrong as long as you have the clearance for the tire size your looking for. on this specific bike(08'sp 400 a 25" would be the biggest you can go because of the tire hitting the rear foot wel area. i myself go on tread design and the strenght of the tire in plys to make a good choice.
