Default Sell my Scrambler for an Outlaw 525?

honda sponda, there time has come and gone and they live on a rep. that 20 years old. what do they make that is not at the bottom in each class. Not trying to get it started but think about it. I have had both. I like the sport quads. the 525irs in my opinion is the best sport quad made today for trails. that does not mean it is right for you though. it is very different from a scrammy and so is the ride. You need to ride a friends sport on the trail and make sure you even want to ride one on the trails where you live or you may be making a mistake on a sports quad all together. but if you go with the 525irs you will get used to it and love the ride. sorry honda but you suck, get up and build what we want instead of what you want us to have. imoo

I'm not one to jump on a band wagon but I would totaly agree w/ suprdavtn except on one point Honda is comming out w/ the new 700xx that is a sports machine with irs allong the lines of 525 irs.Looks like a fun machine! Just something to think about.

It looks nice, but I'm hoping to pick up a 07, something used. I guess the Honda is not out yet? But, if I don't get one soon, it's something to consider.

I have a friend who rides with me on a 400ex, and he has absolutely no problems keeping up with, and passing me, so I think it could do it.

the renny 800 looks nice, and besides the weight, may be the best choice for me, but it's priced pretty firmly out of my price range. as for the trx, it looks nice, but i'm not sure what it offers over the outlaw.

As for the Trx you can bet that it will have Honda quality behind it such as fit n' finish and I'm willing to bet it will have lower torque/gear ratio than the 525.I doubt it will out run a 525 as Honda is allways consevitive on It's horspower output. But all in all it should be a great machine the engine size looks to be exact same as a Raptor 700.Plus it has EFI witch to me is a major plus in a atv no woring about jetting for high alltitude and it gets better fuel milage to boot!

I would like to know what this "Honda Quality" is that you all speak of.Every Honda I have worked on has been a POS nightmare.Seems everyonewho owns one thinks you NEVER have to touch it until it is junk.

I dont think that there quality is any better than some of the other brands but one thing you can count on in a honda is that you rarly ever see a bad one!!!
