I got this bike through a trade and was able to fix all of the issues with this bike other than the oil injection.

I pulled the carb off and cleaned it really well and the bike ran real good for about 20 min then the throttle started sticking again, i pulled the breather off and oil ran out of the carb. What I would like to know is what are the proper steps to getting rid of the injection and just pre mix the gas.

Can i just empty the oil tank and pre mix the gas or do I have to pull the gear out of the pump and then pre mix the gas?

Any help would be appreciated.

i think you have a bigger problem.oil is injected behind the carb before the reed valve.you can adjust the injection.

I have not seen any oil leaking from any where. How do you adjust the injector. This is the first Polaris I have owned ( 2 stroke bike at that).

I did buy a carb rebuild kit and put it in. What scares me is there was alot of parts in the kit that i couldnt find were they went. Dont know if it was a universal type of kit or what. I would like to get this thing going because it has all kinds of power the first time i ran it after the carb cleaning. But do you think there are underlying issues that would make getting rid of it a better option?

Is there some rules of thumb that I should know about on this 2-stroke?

Thanks for advice

*What would the fryed line before the pump cause? I cant find any thing that looks bad though.

They frayed cable can hold the pump open lettinng in too much oil and it can cause the throttle to stick open.
To adjust the injector
1.pull the cover
2.adjust cable to where the marks are lined up and start to move when you touch the throttle

Thanks for all the help but I did a quick fix and traded the bike for a 150cc go-cart. Fixed the injection issue quickly.

Well why do you say that. Just because I am able to have a multitude of toys and am not a closed minded crack head
