Default Double Your Hawkeyes Horse Power?

Apparently "Stretch Lobe Industries" has developed a flexible rubber camshaft that can create xtra HP.

The idea is that while idling, Hawkeyes engine runs like a stock engine but when you give it some throttle, the lobes on the camshaft stretch by centrifugal force and lift the valves higher which in turn allows more fuel in and the increased exhaust out. Then returns to a nice idle. The technology has been around for quite a while and was developed in Ireland where Hawkeyes have actually been mildly modified to produce up to 75 hp. A modified Hawkeye now holds the Irish land speed record at -200 kilometers per irish hour.

They claim it really helps doing donuts, wheelies, jumping and saving gas. I'm so excited about this that I could just crap.

Do you believe in miracles?? I SURE DO!!!!

ok, so I'm about a week early.

LOL You're too funny I thought you were being serious for a minute, but then common sense kicked back in There is variable lift valves out there but not in anyones price range. I saw a prototype 2.3L Ford with electric solenoids to operate the valves but I don't think we'll see that in production for a while.

I already put that cam on mine, right after I put on the Mr. Fusion reactor to fuel the flux capacitor. It runs like heck until you hit 88 MPH.

Yeah, when you're retired you have far, far, far to much time on your hands. Just remember if in the years to come and some one comes up with this. IT WAS MY IDEA.

and actually, there is something close to variable lift valves, honda makes it for there vtec motor in there cars and soon to be in some of there motorcycles and kawasaki puts it on the concourse 1400 motorcycle. it just electronically adjusts your cam timing so making your valves move as you need them
