Default water ready sportsman 800

i was wondering what you have to do to make my sportsman 800 water ready so i can go though havy mud to check out my page i still dont know haow to put the info under your meseg the stuff under the doted line thanks for all the help

Really it should be ready from the factory. The only thing I have snorkeled is my coolant overflow bottle and the vent lines for the front diff and transmission. I have no problems going up to the seat in water and mud, just make sure you keep it running when the exhaust is under water. If you plan on going over the seat then you might want to look into snorkels

unless you want it to be like a boat like some do its fine the way it is as scrammy has said. ive had my 06' up to the seat stuck and had no issues.

polaris said to not go in water over the foot rests... is this BS, or how far can i go?

well i would do teh coolant overflow vent line that is a lil higher than teh foot rests thats the thing thats most endanger unless you go over the seat.

so extending one vent will allow me to go seat deep?

its preety self explanitory the red cap screws off screw the new one on get the 5/16 or 3/8 inch hose at lows that fits it in the color you whant and run it up. and yea i think thats it everything else should be up right? idk about the trans overflow is that brought up into the upper frame rails? or the front diff are they all sealed. my atv overflows are run iside the upper frame rails so if they over flow they fill up the frame haha . thats what the factory did idk about the sportsmans.

Shorse, the depth of the water you want to travel in is only limited by the thickness of your wallet. lol
