Hi, long time reader, new poster to forum......anyway, I needed a replacement bulb for my 01 sportsman 500. The low beam lights in the rack, after visiting my local polaris dealer, in ontario they wanted $48 for a replacement. I did a search on the forum, and there are many of you who say you have used a GE#894, or similar by sylvan. I have located these at my local autoparts place ($8) , but my question is they seem to have a different plastic base with which you lock it into the light assembly. If anyone has had success with a cheaper aftermarket bulb any info would be appreciated.

i just replaced one of my headlights on my '06 hawkeye with sylvania part # 889.

it is the same as stock for me, but i dont know about the other ATVs. i just got mine at walmart for $7.

 

can you get teh high and low beam lights for a 2001 scrambler 500 its one bulb high and low beam. it doesn't need the blastic housing aslong as it has the long conectorr pins that are bent at a 90 degree angle then i can slide it in the old housing with the old metal clip i had them off before they go right back on.

 

Hey did you guys figure out which part number this is?

I have a 2001 Scrambler 400 2x4 that the bulb went out in too?

u can just go to walmart and get one of the sylvan bulbs for like $8, thats what i did with one of my bulbs. the bulbs that come stock on the atvs are sylvan products.
