Default Haweye 300 (After Mods)

Hey Ya,

Madddog24 is back with some results after a few Mods, installed the (UNI Air Fliter, DynoJet Ket, and also did the Carb Drill Mod) took the atv out for a test run and at frist on the take off it was real sluggest and i was very disappointed. Took the Lid off the air box filter and saw that the air inlet opening was laying right on top of the air fliter, UNI Air fliter is 2" longer than the Stock filter. So i pushed the end of the fliter down so the inlet was not laying on top of the fliter. Ran a little Better but it Bogged a little bit on the take off. So we took all 6-rubber plug out of the lid to the air box, and then, the bike took off with a lot MORE POWER and Quicker Throttle Respones, very happy now but i am here at (0-sea level) so i should be able to run this bike with the rubber plugs. So i called Dynojet Ket toll free No# and told them what was happening and right off the bat he told me to move the E-clip up to the #3 Grove inlieu of the #4 grove (the Jet Ket told me to put it on the #4 grove) and he told me to keep the 140 Main jet in as per the instructions in the ket and that should let me run with the plugs in. And he was right it worked!! Pretty Happy Now, but Like my son said and he test drove it too before and after the Mods we thank it still took off Faster with the plugs out and the E-clip on the #4 grove. And yes we did take out the plug also with the E-clip on the #3 grove and could not tell a changes with them out or in. May try one Tweak By truning the Mixture Screw in to 3 inlieu of 3-1/2 with the E-clip on the #3 grove ???

P.S if it does not rain today like they say it will, i am going to make some (0 to 40mph Runs) and i will post the results later today!! Old time trail were (0-40mph) 10.9 to 9.9. Top in speed was 47-mph!!

Hey Hawkman300,

I live her in Hampton Va. and i do think the UNI Fliter is a Good part of the upgrade, not sure if it is a BIG part but i did put the stock filter back to see what would happen and the bike did not like it with the Dynojet Ket Mod.

If I read your info correct, you have not seen a performance increase, maybe a bit of a decrease so far?

No decrease, it was just at first it ran the same and some times on the take off it would bog a little (this was with E-clip was on the #4 grove just like the ket told me too) then when i took out the 6 rubber plugs it took off way better than when it was stock. But i did not like haveing the plugs out so i call Dynojet and they told me to put the E-clip on the #3 grove and now can runs real good with the plugs in. But now my (0-40 mph) or the same as before the mod. But me and my son both think the bike has a Quicker Take off than before the mod.

What would happen if i put the E-clip on the #2 grove ???

i think you could run to lean the performance might be better but it could cost you your motor but try it and if it back fires your to lean

Thanks for the Feed back,

So if i put the E-clip on the #2 Grove should i turn the Mixture screw in or out to keep it from being too Lean (right Now it's at 3-1/2")
