Default 2007 Scrambler leftover---good deal?

I'm from western Pennsylvania and have found a dealer offering a 2007 Scrambler with 0 miles for $5300. It has an aluminum skid plate and after-market a-arms put on it. Good deal?

Also, they are offering a leftover 2007 Sporty EFI for $5999...I'm not an overly aggressive rider, like to catch a little air off of small mounds but enjoy the trail ride in the national forests the most..my buddy who will be my "mechanic" is encouraging me to go with the Scrambler b/c of less parts to maintain in the suspension and more durable...I tend to think the sportsman might be the better ride

Any opinions on the prices I've given and your selection advice is appreciated...

Thats a good price for a new Scrammy! I have a Scrammy and then bought a Sportsman. I ride the Sportsman more because I'm older and ride slower and seem to hit the really rough stuff more than smooth trails and fast riding.
So if you want to race around and slide and jump and hillclimb the Scrammy would be a better choice. The sportsman is better for slow rough trails and working hard.
My 2004 Scrammy is for sale if you want to save a few k. Lots of goodies on it also.

Go with what your mechanic said.I like the less parts less to wear out idea too.

sportsman 100 percent i have the scrambler and i cant deal with teh chain i hate adjusting it i hate cleaning it i hate snapping it I hate th ehopping from when it is to loose and i hate the rocks with it. I hate the swinga arm eeven thow it is great for the sporty ness i snapped the frame in 2 spots it is only a 2001 i and i welded it already before there is so much torqe on a chain that pulls the right side of teh frame unlike a shaft drive has the twisiting in teh drive shaft but that doesn't do anything to your frame. on a scrambler you bottom out over rooks with the back axle and all of my neigbors sportsmans are tons more reliable than the scramblers. and in the woods on a scrambler the rear axle wont let it lean at all so you hit a rock with one back tire the hole atv rocks over. the sportsmans are so smoth over anything and faster in the trail i can't keep up with my scrambler and its not because i am a bad rider at all. its simple teh scrambler in tight turns over rocks whants to tip so i slide the back out a lil but the sportsmans just lean a lil and grip.
