hey guys any one have or know of place to find a transmition for a sp 600 twin iv looked on ebay and can only find the case for one id like the hole thing now will a trans from say a 500 or a 700 just saying work in the 600 i know with like the trailblazers and the scammy some of the parts are interchangable and i was wournding if its the same for the sportsmen thanks guys

yes they are interchangeble thats wat mountaineer rider was saying you need a transe from a twin model sportsman doesn't matter if it is a 600 700 or 800 they will all work.

did you try ebay by just looking up polaris trans or something like that sometimes people don't post things on ebay corectely it might just say atv trans because they don't know what atv it goes 2. i got a 600 dollar cdi for a jet ski for 25 dollars that way.

 

ohhh wow nice buy and no i didnt think of trying ta look for one that way see my buddy bought a 04 sp 600 twin for 5 grand and it came with itp mud lites and the po rims for them and a few othere things well he had taken it to the shope that he bought his truck from and that it gone over and the trans is going in it and the wheeler is in mint shape when hes put maybe 50 miles on it sence hes bought it and when he got it it had 500 some thing mile on it it was and older cupples wheeler

 

what is the matter with the transe i just whent threw my 1998 transe and everything was great i did replace a bearing but it didn't need to be but since i had it apart because i was fixing the big hole in the side from the chain snapping. i also found a dealer that cells bearings and it was $9.00 for a bearing that polaris charged $30.00 for it is hte same brand and part number haha. the bearing is mostly used for big electric motors not atvs.

 

im nore really sure all i know is that he said he needs to get a new one case its one its way out and the rear drive shaft slaps when u put it in gear and stuff mi buddy just asked me to try ta find him one

 

o ok it the shaft slaps it would eather be a shaft or simply a bearing idg how much the trans you are looking for is but the one i needed witch all it has is forward nutral revers and a imput shaft and an out put shaft when used on ebay for $265 the one you are looking for has park low nutral reverse and high and has an imput and 2 output shafts for the 4/4. i would amagine that being realy expensive and you are still getting something used could be in the same condition.
