i have pretty much decided to get maxxis suretraks. they seem to be the closest thing to the bear claws thread pattern. has anyone used the suretraks? do you like them? how do they hold up to punctures?

i am alittle worried because i think they are only 2 ply. why the heck would you design a offroad tire and make it 2 ply? they have to be alittle tougher then an ordinarly 2 ply tire?

A friend has a set on his recon and they do great! So far he hasnt had any problems with punctures and they wear very well even when riding on road. They will go anywhere in the mud then when you turn them around the are great for snow. Very good tires.

Arghhh! Brandon, why do you always answer the threads befor I get to them! Anyway, HondaManMyers description is correct, but be advised they are about an 1.5 inches shorter than advertised.
