i know that i'm going to get razr tires but i was wondering if i should het 20in. on the rear and 21in. on front or just get 22in. on the back and keep my front tires. i like my front tires pretty good and they still have a good bit of tread on them. what would the 20in. tires do differently for me than the 22in.? i ride in trails, hard and soft pack, mx tracks, mud, snow a few times a year, climb hills, and cross an occasional hill if this helps any.

Smaller tires will lower your center of gravity a bit and help on acceleration and give more wheel-spin. You may loose a tad of top speed though.

what would happen if i put 20in. razrs on the back and kept my stock 23in. on the front? would it be harder to control? would it slide better? would the front end come up easily?

You do not want to do that. I am guess that you have a Scrambler or a sport. And they sit low in the rear with the stock tires. If you were to keep 23 on the front and put 20 on the back the rear of the bike would sit down 2 inches more. And you dont want that. I think that it would be harder to ride. I thought about going to 20 and 21 on my bike but I was not willing to lose my ground clearance. I need it at the rear axle. And I also didnt want to lose the top end(5mph aprox). So I have 22x11x9 Holeshot XCT's mounted on ITP T-9 rims comming for the back, and 23x7x10 XCT's on T-9's comming for the front. I think that I will really like them.

Phil

Good tire choice. I Hvae been running these since they were released, and they handle soooo much better than the stockers. Also check out the new Razrs in Polaris sizes. They look interesting.
