Aftermarket Wheels on Scrambler
#1
I'm looking at putting some DWT A5 Alumilite wheels on my Scrambler. The size that DWT recomends is:
Front - 10X5 with a 3+2 backspacing
Rear - 10X8 with a 3+5 backspacing
My question is, how will going with these rims change the overall width (front and rear) of my machine? I know these are slightly different sizes and backspacing than the oddball stock sizes. Will I need some type of wheel spacers if I want to stay the EXACT same width? Any help from guys that have gone to aftermarket rims would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i got the DWT .190 rims on mine with the same size as you listed. i didn't measure the front before or after i changed. just by looks the front is wider. i didnt need spacers.the wider front made it handle alot better.

Stock front is 3+2 & rear is 3+5. So the ones you're looking at are stock offsets, so no change in width.
I have 2+3 in the front on my Scrambler & I like it. Makes the quad much more stable.
