Uni filter air filter on an "07 Hawkeye?

Uni filter air filter on an "07 Hawkeye?
Thinking about one of these air filters. Does it flow that much more than the stock setup? I assume they don't filter as well as a paper filter but is it that much "worse"? I'd like to use one since I've opened up the exhaust with the SuperTrapp muffler, but I DON'T want to be sucking in a bunch of grit either.
